Proteinex vs Protinex

Proteinex and Protinex are both supplements to boost Protein intake. Both are hydrolized proteins, where Proteinex is in liquid form ready to drink (RTD) and Protinex is in powder form that needs to be mixed in milk or water.  Being hydrolysed make the formula easily digestible.

Proteinex is made by Llorens Pharmaceutical headquartered in Miami, Florida and manufactred in an FDA facility.  Protinex is manufactured by Danone headquartered in Mumbai, India and not reviewed by the FDA.  Proteinex is popular in the United States and Protinex is strong in India.

Proteinex Liquid Protein ingredients are L-Arginine, L-Histidine, L-Isoleucine, L-Leucine, L-Lysine, L-Methionine, L-Phenylalanine, L-Threonine, L-Valine, Hydrolyzed collagen, purified water, propylene glycol, malic acid, sucralose, L-tryptophan, potassium sorbate, and sodium benzoate.  Protinex ingredients are protein, iron, Vitamin B, A, C & E, Calcium.  The Protinex website did not provide much insight to the ingredients.

Proteinex is used more for medical purpses such as pre and post surgery, dialysis and weight loss where low volume is needed.  Protinex is similar to Ensure Drink , and everyday supplement.
